Why we exist
Payable errors rarely announce themselves as dramatic fraud. More often they sit in duplicate freight invoices, rushed approvals before Chinese New Year cut-off, or vendor bank changes that nobody second-checked. Datasync Net was formed in Central to give finance teams an independent pair of eyes on that daily traffic — without turning every engagement into a statutory audit dress rehearsal.
How we started
The founding team came from internal audit and commercial finance roles inside trading and logistics groups headquartered in Hong Kong. We kept seeing the same pattern: year-end external auditors skimmed AP, while the real leakage lived in mid-year payment runs. We opened a dedicated payable audit practice so controllers could commission focused work between statutory cycles.
Who you meet
Engagements are led by senior practitioners who still sit in the sample room. We keep teams small — usually one lead and one associate — so your AP clerks are not answering the same question twice. When a specialised industry arises (construction retentions, shipping disbursements), we bring in a known colleague rather than inventing expertise overnight.
Working approach
We ask for documents early, state when filing is too thin to support a conclusion, and write exceptions with voucher numbers your staff can find. Meetings stay short. Draft findings go to the controller for factual challenge before anything reaches the board pack.

Location
Our office is at The Center, 99 Queen’s Road Central, Central, Hong Kong. Fieldwork happens across Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and the New Territories by arrangement.
